Also offered as Session III during our Rites of Passage series.
A 2 ½ hour interactive and informative course that addresses the issues of self-esteem, peer pressure & social media by generating an open dialogue parents and tweens in a fun and engaging environment.
Young people today are facing pressures from peers and media (TV, print or social media), that can take a toll on their self-esteem and self-worth. Parents need the tools to adequately deal with those external pressures and help create a strong internal foundation for their children now and in the future.
This course empowers parents with the tools and language to deal with the expanding role that external pressure plays in their child’s life. By being present and part of the conversation pertaining to potential hazards, parents are proactively prepared to deal with future issues that might arise.
This course is taught by a certified Birds & Bees Connection Educator using our copyrighted guidebooks.
